Reykjavik (light blue and white checkers) was fourth in the 2017 Amelia Park-Karrakatta Plate

Punting Form race reports: Wednesday 27 June

According to Punting Form, Jordan Turner has an excellent chance of winning the David Grays Aglink Handicap aboard Reykjavik in what will be only his third race ride in Western Australia since he returned to the state on a full-time basis.

Turner, who has not ridden regularly in Western Australia since December 2016, takes 1.5 kilograms off Reykjavik's back to reduce the Lindsey Smith-trained galloper's impost to 58.5kg and, if he reproduces anything close to his personal best on Punting Form's numbers, he will be difficult to defeat. Reykjavik's highest rating is 3.8 lengths faster than that of his nearest David Grays Aglink Handicap rival and his last-start figure is the most impressive of Wednesday's field as well.
