Stephen Rowe has trained three metropolitan winners this season and, according to Punting Form, he has a favourite's chance of making it four city victories this term when Picasso Bay resumes from her 151-day spell in the Vale Roy Dicks Handicap over 1,200 metres at Belmont Park on Wednesday.
Picasso Bay debuted in what Punting Form reviewed as a high-rating race over 1,100m at Ascot Racecourse in December, recording a figure more than two lengths superior to anything her Vale Roy Dicks Handicap rivals have posted. Picasso Bay was disappointing second up two weeks later but she returned shin sore and, therefore, that performance was not a true reflection of her ability.
