According to Punting Form, Market Ruler has several lengths on the raced brigade set to line up against her in Saturday's Mumm Champagne Plate over 1,000 metres at Belmont Park so only bad luck or a good debutant should beat her.
Market Ruler made a mess of her Passages Youth Engagement Hub Plate rivals at Ascot Racecourse two weeks ago, franking Black Sabbath's form in putting a gap into a decent first starter, Pablo's Poem. Market Ruler earned a Punting Form rating of -5.5 for that effort and, while she switches from Ascot Racecourse to Belmont Park, she sticks at 1,000m. None of her Mumm Champagne Plate foes has a Punting Form personal best within seven lengths of her peak performance and that galloper is the relatively exposed one-time winner, Carolina Reaper.
