Punting Form's pick for race 9 - Jupiter Rising, a four-year-old grey trained by Neville Parnham

Punting Form race reports Wednesday 18 April

Neville Parnham scratched Jupiter Rising from Saturday's ninth race at Ascot Racecourse and, according to Punting Form, the 13-time premiership-winning trainer may have pulled the right rein in reserving the four-year-old gelding for Wednesday's ninth race at the venue, the Budget Car & Truck Rental Handicap.

Jupiter Rising has won only one of his 21 races but he is the only galloper in the Budget Car & Truck Rental Handicap field to have run a faster-than-benchmark time in any event during the last two years. Furthermore, Jupiter Rising's last-start rating is better than those of his midweek opponents even though he achieved it finishing last but one behind Broker at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday 7 April.
