Dainty Tess boasts the best Punting Form six-furlongs figure of the Marjorie Charleson Classic competitors
Dainty Tess has won only one of her five races over 1,200 metres - and it was a two-year-old contest at set weights with penalties - but she does boast the best Punting Form six-furlongs figure of the Marjorie Charleson Classic competitors.
A Group Three winner over 1,000m - she took out this season's Prince of Wales Stakes at Ascot Racecourse - Dainty Tess ran a Punting Form figure of -8.0 lengths faster than benchmark when she finished fourth behind Profit Street, Red Paddy and Conseated in a 1,200m handicap at Perth Racing's main venue 12 months ago. Dainty Tess carried 58 kilograms in that event so she posted her 1,200m personal best with an impost and, according to Punting Form, the mare with the second most impressive figure over the trip is Distant Memory at -5.1.
Perth Racing is committed to providing punters with the best possible free data to enable them to bet with confidence on the club's races with TABtouch, the brand that funds the industry. You can download the Punting Form race reports for all eight Ascot Racecourse races on Saturday and, according to them, Dainty Tess is a worthy favourite for the Marjorie Charleson Classic as she returns after nine weeks off the scene.
