5 REEF KEEPER did work early and held on okay when 4L off Trap For Fools. Can improve off that effort.

1 MATERIAL MAN strong winner of The Northam Cup. Two from two second-up and can prove hard to throw here.
2 TRADESMAN even run when 2.5L off Pounamu. Can be thereabouts again.
3 VARIATION beaten a half-head by Pounamu in the G3 Asian Beau. Fitter now third-up and looks the one to beat.
4 ELLICAZOOM struggled in recent runs in Melbourne. Hard to have here on recent form.
5 INFATHUATED fell away badly in the Asian Beau. Prefer others.
6 PROPERANTES impressive win last start in 72 grade. Will need to step up, but placing isn’t impossible.
7 ROYAL STAR sat on hot speed and beaten 2L by Pounamu. Strips fitter third-up and is one of the big players here.
8 TONKATUFF ran home okay behind War God against the pattern of the day last start. Would need to have come on a fair bit from that to figure.
9 TOUCH OF SILVER quickest last 600m when 1.5L off Pounamu. Lightly raced 5yo on the up and can challenge these with solid tempo.

1 WHISPERING BROOK best run this campaign when towed field to leader off hot speed and held on for third a half-length off Pounamu. 1400m back to 1100m.
2 DURENDAL resumed with solid 2.5L fifth to Dainty Tess in Prince Of Wales. Can improve off that.
3 IT’S IT sat wide on hot speed before fading 5L off Dainty Tess. Can come on from that run.
4 PROFIT STREET resumed well when short neck off Dainty Tess. Can test these.
5 POTENT SECRET set solid tempo before finishing 6L off Dainty Tess. Expect will be on speed again but hard to see figuring.
6 DAINTY TESS rocketed down the outside to score in the G3 Prince Of Wales. Rarely runs a bad race and should produce again here.
7 CAIPIRINHA chased Potent Secret last start before fading. Has been disappointing this prep and expect will find a few here too good.
8 STATE SOLICITOR breathtaking win when resuming October 21. The one to beat and should be too good again.
9 CUANZO solid performance when 1.5L off Rhi’s Rocket. This is tougher though and midfield finish looks best.
10 VOLKOFF made good ground late when 3/4L off Dainty Tess. Should be running on well again.

3 KISS BANG LOVE been average in three runs back from a spell. Not here.
4 MIKIMOTO closed brilliantly to salute in Listed Burgess Queen Stakes. Pike rides from barrier three.
5 SOPHIA’S SECRET fought on gallantly when 1L off Mikimoto. Will go forward but has drawn awkwardly.
6 SHOWCASE finished 5L off Mikimoto but made good ground over concluding stages. Can place.
7 PRIVATE DANCER came with sweeping run and then dug deep to beat Massagi last start. Would need to go to another level but isn’t without a place chance.
8 MASSAGI returned to form when just edged by Private Dancer. Like that runner, has place claims at best.
9 NECKLET couldn’t find in the run home when 6L off Mikimoto in Burgess Queen. Drawn well but only a place chance.
10 SPECIAL ALERT broke the duck in what was below average maiden. Would surprised if figured here.
11 LOVE ALWAYS nice maiden win at Bunbury. Has talent but looks stretched by a handful here.
12 RACY AVA will find this too difficult.

5 STAR VALUE given every chance when 2L off La Mouline. Up to 1800m for first time, but has ability, and each-way claims.
6 AWESOME AS came with strong late run when 3/4L off La Mouline. Up in grade now but peaking fourth-up. Go close.
7 JUICING CARROTS hasn’t fired a shot in five runs this campaign. Prefer others.
