Jazari’s at $2.40 and Pure Gem’s at $3.70 despite neither having run the trip before. The former has only run the 2000m once this campaign, while the latter jumps from 1400m to 2200m.

They haven’t missed this bloke. I was hoping for double that quota.
How bad was that debut? Was 4L last after a furlong having his ears ridden off.
But how good was it? Snuck up the cutaway and finished within a length of Captain Stirling. His last 600m was 33.04, 0.70 better than the winner.

She was the run of the race behind Superior Smile at Northam. They dawdled - first four out were first four home - and yet she still finished just three-quarters-of-a-length from the winner and produced the quickest last 600m by almost half-a-second.
Drawn better here in two. Thought we’d get more value though.
