Kleva Kezza (far left) chases home Cash On Call at Belmont.

Under The Radar: Ascot - Wednesday 25 October

Expected weather: Partly Cloudy and 23 degrees

Expected track rating: Good 4

Rail position: 11m position

Race 3 – 2.14 Wireline Services Group Hcp (1000m) - Bet with TABtouch

3 SOUNDCHECK (TABtouch opening price: $7.50)

Beaten a neck by Velago first-up at York in what was a solid performance and should improve off that run.

Will need a touch of luck from the draw (7) but is a real goer this boy, having shown plenty of cheek as a 2yo.

If there’s one to spoil the two hot-pots (Rebellionaire and Danes Maree), then it’s this bloke.

REPLAY - SOUNDCHECK (2nd) - 5 October 2017 - Race 2 - 1100m - York

Race 5 – 3.30pm DP & LK Patten Hcp (1400m) - Bet with TABtouch

7 KLEVA KEZZA (TABtouch opening price: $5)

Last 200m good right?

Well Kleva Kezza chased him home the start prior.

Further positives are that Kezza has drawn well (4) and is fitter now third-up. Punters a bit stiff he’s gone up five bucks though. Give us 7’s at least you blokes.

REPLAY - KLEVA KEZZA (3rd) - 30 September 2017 - Race 8 - 1300m - Belmont Park

Race 8 – 5:17pm Lithium Australia Handicap (1600m) - Bet with TABtouch

7 STARKLE (TABtouch opening price: $7)

Went right back from a wide draw but hit the line strongly when 2L off Forty Four Red at Northam. Last 600m was the quickest of the race.

Ridden quietly has been his thing in recent times, but  from barrier five would like to see him midfield at worst.

The step up to the mile from the 1400m suits and I think if all goes right, he can salute.

REPLAY - STARKLE (3rd) - 12 October 2017 - Race 7 - 1400m - Northam
