Entrechat (far left) finishes fourth behind Jetoomy (white cap) at Belmont, on 16 September.

Under The Radar: Belmont Park - Saturday 7 October

Expected weather: Possible Shower - 17 degrees

Expected track rating: Good 4

Rail position: Out 9m

Race 2: 1.54pm Lavazza Hcp (1650m) - Bet with TABtouch

7 PRENTICE (TABtouch opening price: $11)

No doubting the fact the two ‘shorties’ Pinzu and Our Finest Moment look like fighting this one out, but can’t ignore the run this fella put in behind the latter last start.

They sat side-by-side in the run before OFM came wide in the straight to salute, while Prentice stuck to the rail to run second. The final margin just three-quarters of a length.

Barriers won’t mean much here with just seven to go around, but Prentice should have less trouble in three, than what OFM will have in seven. Watch the below and then seriously consider this boy for the multiples.

REPLAY - PRENTICE (2nd) - 23 September 2017 - Race 6 - 1600 - Belmont Park

Race 4: 3.08pm - TABtouch Hcp (2100m) - Bet with TABtouch

4 ENTRECHAT (TABtouch opening price: $6.50)

A tragedy beaten last start.

Sat in traffic for a lifetime in the straight, before finally getting clean air and finishing just a length off Jetoomy. Barrier 13 that day, barrier four here, sticks to 2000m after two previous runs at the distance, drops in grade and drops in weight thanks to the claim.

There’s a few in-form in this event, but at the $6.50 - and hopefully better come race day - you’ve got to have a look at her.

REPLAY - ENTRECHAT (4th) - 16 September 2017 - Race 8 - 2000m - Belmont Park

Race 6: 4.20pm - D’Orsogna Hcp (1000m) - Bet with TABtouch

1 ZUCCHEROS (TABtouch opening price: $23)

Much like Prentice, Zuccheros looks up against it with Caipirinha and Salorsci both resuming, but also much like Prentice, you can’t ignore his previous run.

Last start he finished two lengths off I Am Incredible and Lockroy, who he meets again here, but clocked a quicker last 600m, 400m and 200m than both. His last 200m 0.4 of a second to the better.

This is a red-hot race, but he’ll improve here second-up surely, and again enjoys Fred Kersley’s 3kg claim.

And he’s 23 bucks, and likely to drift. Playing the ‘tri’s’? Thinking about the quaddie? Have a think about him.

REPLAY - ZUCCHEROS (3rd) - 23 September 2017 - Race 7 - 1000m - Belmont Park
