5 THE TOTE CRUSHER (TABtouch opening price: 7.50)

The Tote Crusher has competitive race experience unlike the pre-post favourite, The Big Show, and he ran well when debuting behind another Darren McAuliffe-trained galloper, Massagi, over 1,400m at Ascot Racecourse in May.

What makes The Tote Crusher stand out on a midweek card is his family tree – he is a full brother of Miss Vinnoire, which placed once at Group Three level and four times in Listed company, and three-time Listed placegetter Vintrack.

Race 6 3:40 Glenroy Chaff Handicap (1,000m) - Bet with TABtouch

5 COUNT TOMOZ OFF (TABtouch opening price: 5.50)

Count Tomoz Off was difficult to load when he debuted over 1,000m at Ascot Racecourse 14 months ago but he made light of his pre-race problems to make a winning start to his career, hitting the front in the straight and powering to victory.

David Harrison has campaigned Count Tomoz Off over all sorts of sprint trips, up to and including 1,300m, but all of his best speed ratings have occurred over 1,000m and he gets the assistance of William Pike for the first time in his career.

8 TAKE IT LIKE A MAN (TABtouch opening price: 6.00)

Take It Like A Man was beaten a long way behind Taxagano over 1,650m at Belmont Park 18 days ago but that was a Saturday race and it took place on a heavy track, which may not be too his liking even though he has won on one.

According to the clock, Take It Like A Man ran his best-ever numbers over 1,650m at Belmont Park two starts ago when he encountered a surface rated as a soft five and he paired up with Daniel Staeck, who appears to get on well with him.
